I have recently uploaded transcripts of the earliest registers for three more Essex parishes. Please note that further data from the other registers can be found on freereg.org.uk.



I have just uploaded trasncripts for 3 more parishes in Norfolk.



I have just added transcripts of all the available baptism, marriage and burial registers for Thrandeston. This amounts to nearly 6000 entries.
I have a personal interest in this place, hence completing the more recent registers rather than just the pre 1813 registers. The names I have connections to are Harold, Styles and Squire (and various spellings). If you have an interest in those names you can find more on my other site.

I have recently added transcripts for a second parish in Thetford, Norfolk.

Having waded through the large parish of Hoxne last time, I have chosen some smaller ones this time.
Kettlebaston – just shy of 1700 records

Preston – over 2300 records

Southolt – almost 1500 records

The early records from Preston are fascinating with a very chatty Rector. Well worth a browse.
Hopefully something of interest for you.
At long last we can now work on high quality images of Suffolk parish registers, available on Ancestry. I have added transcripts of the early registers for two parishes along the northern border on the River Waveney.
